Uncovered Sounds is a blog about emerging musicians worldwide, as well as less known songs of established bands. It offers original features and interviews about new artists from genres including rock, pop, indie folk, and hip hop. This blog also covers New York-based shows.
A graduate student at Syracuse University my name is Ana Barbu and I am the creator of Uncovered Sounds. My appreciation for music developed due to my training in classical piano from age 6 and my love of writing short stories and issues of a weekly newspaper as a child. Disclaimer
